CHD mortality (ICD 410-414) among men aged 35-44 in some countries and US white and black men in some states

Mortality (/100,000)

We plotted the state- and race-specific mortality into the mortality in the world. The highest in the United States (Blacks in Mississippi) is much higher than in Poland and almost similar to that in Hungary, one of the highest in the world. The lowest in the United States (White in Washington state) is lower than in France, one of the lowest in the world. The difference in CHD mortality among men aged 35-44 observed in the United State by state and race is as large as the the difference observed in Europe.
