In conclusion, breast-feeding in infancy might be related to the higher prevalence of asthma during pre-adolescence. Although an epidemiological study such as this cannot provide definitive evidence of the risk of breast-feeding on the prevalence of asthma, our findings show the possibility of its undesirable effect.
