Teaching Tip:

Students often want copies of the power point presentations.

Here is something you can do to give them the presentation but also keep them engaged. Copy your power point presentation, and make a student version. In the student version, omit  a couple of key words or bulleted content on each slide and my personal notes. Student then are motivated to come to class so they can find out about the missing content on the slides. Filling in the blanks is also helpful for the kinesthetic learner, who likes having something to do in a lecture.
