He wrote an important volume entitled, The Perfect Book of the Art of Medicine, which served, along with Avicenna's Cannon of Medicine, as a standard text in European medical schools for centuries.  Haly Abbas' treatise was 1st. translated into Latin by Constantinus Africanus, and was continually recopied through the 16th century, with the last major edition appearing in Lyon in 1523 AD.
