 inspection of class assignments and faculty records gave insight into the quality of instruction. The schools were generally small enough that a day’s visit would suffice. After a visit, Flexner sent a draft of his findings to a school to give it an opportunity to correct errors of fact. As he completed sections of the report, he sent drafts to Pritchett and to his brother Simon. Abraham’s concentration and organization made it possible to have the report printed and circulated  by June 1910.
