The great body of evidence supports the hypothesis that proven global warming is largely due to human activity in the last 50-100years

But the evidence is not conclusive, there is  still much debate about the science and the estimates of anticipated changes in temperature, sea level, melting of glaciers are wide.

While there seems to be some consensus that the planet has warmed,, the degree of that warming, the causes of that warming and the impact for human life and for the planet are debated.

The precautionary principle argues that  there is sufficient evidence to take action now and there are realistic benefits  from so doing….not least better husbandry of planet earth and better care for all of her peoples and their children’s children
