The threat, the reality of climate change has climbed the political agenda. In the 1970’s the concept of spaceship earth was popular. The earth is a spaceship, we only have what the planet holds and once spent those resources are gone for ever. The planet can sustain and cherish a limited number of animals. The planet’s capacity to buffer extremes of pollution, temperature, acidity is limited.

 

The message was drowned out and forgotten as the world got richer.
