Risk of being diagnosed with prostate cancer increases with age, from 1 in 2500 at age 45, to 1 in 9 at age 75.  For men in the general population, the overall risk of being diagnosed with prostate cancer is 1 in 6.  The risk of dying is 1 in 35.
