These is my oral history outline. It was designed for about an hour, and that is pretty much what it took.

The questions tend to be open ended:

what triggered your involvement

tell me the whole story

Was there an AHA moment

You need to be well prepared however to probe vagueness, and follow up for clarity.

We also included some specific questions about things we wanted to know about, like prophylaxis, secondary infections
