Re Koch's 4 postulates:

1) The virus must be present in every case of the disease.

2) The virus must be grown in-vitro in living cells.

3) The disease must be reproduced when a pure culture of the virus is inoculated into a healthy susceptible host.

4) The virus must be recovered again from the experimentally-infected host.
