Michelle D. Holmes is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. Since the completion of her PhD in epidemiology in 1997, she has been involved with various research activities under the Nurse's Health Study at the Channing Laboratory, one of the largest prospective investigations into the risk factors for major chronic diseases in women. Some of her current research projects are: Dietary and lifestyle factors associated with survival among women with breast cancer, and Dietary, reproductive, anthropometric, and lifestyle predictors of serum insulin growth factors.
