Strategic Evacuation is done almost entirely by the air force. Patient movement requests are generated. CCATT teams are requested if the patient requires intensive care. The team comes to the location, assesses the casualty and may or may not perform additional procedures such as additional IV placement, intubation, central lines based on assessment of the patients needs to safely make it through the flight.
