The equipment goes with the team and consists
of three backpacks and additional equipment bags weighing a total of 585 lbs.
The kind of equipment carried is demonstrated on this slide. The ventilator
is the size of a large shoebox. In addition the team has 10 liters of
crystalloid but no blood products. If the patient is undergoing active
resuscitation blood products and extra fluid is obtained at the sending
