The recycling model of the supercourse is where scientists share their lectures. Thus if I want to talk about type one diabetes, I can use 8 slides from a previous lecture of mine, several slides from Marco Songeni from Sardinia, and 4 lectures on complications from Trevor Orchard. I can modify these slides, and re-arrange them into a brand new lecture, my lecture.  Recycling lectures gives one an idea of how to develop a lecture, and what is important in the area. It is also an enormous time saver.
