In children, when capacity may be an issue, -Parental consent would be required.  
But, together with parental consent, assent of the child is also sometimes required.
Assent-the child must agree.
In MENTALLY DISABLED individuals, where capacity may also be an issue, guardian consent. Sometimes a history of the request of the individual in the past may also be assessed – Living wills, or consent before loss of capacity.
