Due
to regionalization, in nine of Canada’s ten provinces, responsibility for
decision-making about health and health care has been transferred to local
health authorities (called
regional health authorities (RHAs)),
many of which service rural and northern areas. Recent work at MCHP has sought to provide information directly relevant to these RHAs. For more information on MCHP’s recent and current research projects and publications: Note: Even though Manitoba researchers work in an “information-rich” environment, the approaches described here are still relevant when only some of the data are available. |
