· There were six Banfield hospitals located within 20 miles of the chemical accident in Fairburn, GA and many more hospitals located in nearby unaffected areas
· The medical records of dogs visiting these Banfield hospitals were analyzed to determine if there has been any increase in the frequency of various clinical syndromes during the period of time following report of an onion-like odor in the area compared with the period of time before the chemical incident
· The results were graphed by week of year in 2006. The chemical odor was first detected around week 26.
