The National Diabetes Education Program is a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services program sponsored by the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Over 200 public and private partners support the NDEP and help promote its messages. The goal of the NDEP is to translate scientific research into easy-to-understand materials to help both people with diabetes and people at risk for diabetes live longer, healthier lives.
