This lecture studies and analyzes the changes produced on Epidemiology and Health Care Management as a result from the introduction of Informatics at all levels in the organization and operation of the health services, as well as in the design and implementation of health policies. It takes into account the experiences of countries at different stages of development in this field and the outcome of studies performed by outstanding individuals and specialized teams.
