This module has been prepared in response to a wide variety of materials, many of which were culturally inappropriate, few of which – if any – had been field tested, and most took little account of the intended audience’s capacity to understand the central message.

It seeks to show the steps that are essential if the materials are to be both understood by those for whom they are designed, and to convey the message(s) intended. This case study is taken from Baluchestan Province in Pakistan.
