retrospective review of medical documentation of 2 endocrinological departments of
Novosibirsk City, where the children (from whole Novosibirsk region) with suspected and
revealed IDDM is admitted for initial diagnostic and treatment. The case reports of these
two hospital departments are the primary source of data for our registry. 2-
retrospective review of children endocrinologist data performing the control of ambulatory
children with IDDM, consulting children with suspected IDDM, revealing children with IDDM
with subsequent hospitalization in one of 2 endocrinological departments. This is
secondary source of registry data. But the secondary data source is not completely
independent of the primary one because of the system of medical care in Russia. |
