Fundoplication: procedure which takes the stomach and wraps it around the esophagus. Allows food to go down but not come up again.

Pyloroplasty: procedure which opens the sphincter at the bottom end of the stomach to empty contents of the stomach more easily.

With G-tube: may have slow stomach emptying, resulting from altered anatomic features of the stomach. With G-tube insertion, the stomach is fixated instead of floating freely in the body cavity.
