Method of Agreement pertains to
AIDS, which appeared in intravenous drug users, hemophiliacs, and
recipients of blood transfusions at higher rates than in the general
population. This suggested to scientists that the responsible agent was a
virus in the bloodstream – the agent we now know as HIV.
