Anti-TD agents probably don’t differ too much to adults, but limited evidence for rifamixin. Also, at present, quinolones are not used in growing children even for treatment because of the risk of joint damage. Antimotility drugs such as loperamide have not traditionally been used in young children but is probably safe in teenagers.
