As predicted by our hypotheses, we confirmed
that males had a higher incidence than females, migrants were at greater
risk than females, and that incidence based on urban populations had a
higher rate than those from rural or mixed geographical areas. These
findings were generally consistent across studies. Together with the results of other special groups and the core studies, these results suggest that the incidence of schizophrenia is varied. |
