This new system of
treatment allows new personalized therapeutic schemes, restoring the
function of supresser genes, blocking the overexpression of antiapoptotic
cells or those involved in cellular proliferation or stimulation of the
immune system against tumor antigens. All of these strategies are presently
used in the clinical phase of studies opening new therapeutic alternative
applications in lung cancer.
