Overall, North America has very low CVD mortality rates relatively speaking, for both males and females.  The concern is that these rates and the risk factors associated with them are increasing.  In Argentina the mortality from CVDs for females is much lower at 176.65 per 100,000 population, about 37.55% of all deaths (1996)
