The R home page is perhaps the most important website and perhaps the only website that you may want to check out if you are starting out as a newbie. Do remember to subscribe to the R help mailing list. Remember that it is a very high volume list, and in a day, you can have message sizes as large as 180 kilobytes. We’d advise that you subscribe in the digest mode, and carefully read each message every day. Each daily digest contains huge amount of information, questions and answers and will help you to get working with R more easily. It is also a good habit to periodically check for R and Statistics in Google (http://www.google.com) for more information.
