In1993 we were developing of a coordinate working group including biochemical experts, hematologists, internal medicine, pediatrician, radiologist and epidemiologist working together in research on Spanish Gaucher’s disease.

Our group was designing a Spanish epidemiological and clinical Registry on Gaucher’s disease and researching in the distribution of Spanish mutations.

We have published more than 25 papers and a monography in Spanish about Gaucher’s disease. We have  our own web site.

At this moment we are developing four research proyects and working in different aspects of disease: genetic, skeletal manifestations, clinical response to ERT, quality of life related with therapy, retarding in the growth, macrophage indicators.
