45 persons died as a result of the tornado
3 persons were not injured but died of cardiac conditions
One disabled person was fatally injured prior to the tornado when he was dropped while being taken down a flight of stairs in his wheelchair to the basement for protection.
One person refused to leave their damaged residence. Several candles had been lit for lighting and apparently a gas leak caused a fire and the person died from smoke inhalation and burns.
