In response to the tornado disaster, the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) conducted a field study. The primary objectives of the study were to determine the number, types, severity of injuries. Causes of injuries, and locations of person who were injured or died. We also wanted to determine the types of warnings that people received and the types of actions that people took to protect themselves.
