What are the networks of health services like in the central African countries? Do these clinics advertize and distribute cheap condoms? India by contrast is better organized, but is not yet restraining AIDS.
We are looking for a miracle perhaps a technical one to pull Africa, India and Southeast Asia up by their bootstraps, without forgetting that Mexico, Central & South America have pressing problems in rural areas like Chagas disease, yet no such miracle is in sight.

The true final goal is comfortable longevity. A country like Sweden has reached this goal and serves as an object lesson. Education, technology and world trade are part of the economy that is supporting this longevity.
