The period of
traditional adolescence is lengthening because of early puberty and gradual
rise in the age of marriage. They have special reproductive health problems but their needs are neglected. Proper care of adolescents can reduce a volume of STD’s/RTI’s, unsafe abortions and unintended pregnancies. ICPD Cairo document stress the need to invest more on adolescents for the better reproductive health of the communities. |
