To attain the next level of OSH performance, this industry has recently initiated a pilot project in promoting behaviour-based safety, taking a leaf from the petroleum & petrochemical industry. The latter has gone beyond managing OSH issues through safety management systems and demonstrated that, by engaging employees and management, far better results are possible.
