One of the important functions of management review is to help the organisation adopt to change. It is, therefore, important that changes should be identified, such as:
  • (a) changes in the nature or type of testing that a laboratory performs;
  • (b) changes in external influences on the laboratory, such as government regulations.
  • Records of management review are quality records, and must be created, stored and retained according to documented procedures.

    They are subject to internal and to external audit.

    Such records typically would include the agenda for each meeting, the minutes of the meeting, and any corrective action requests that are generated as a result of the meeting.
