The majority of cases of violence against women reported were committed in public places (in the street, in the markets, in transport, etc.). Approximately one third of cases of violence occurred at home (domestic violence). Every tenth case of violence is registered at the place of work or study.
It should be said that the older a woman is, the more likely she is to be exposed to domestic violence. On the contrary, the younger she is, the higher is the likelihood to be exposed to violence at the place of work or study.

In 68% of cases the source of violence was a stranger, in 32 percent of cases violence was committed by relatives (by husband - 27%; children – 1%; other relatives – 4%). Below there is age differentiation of people committing violence against women shown. Two thirds of them are aged 19-40.

Since violence against women is specific, dependent on the place where it is committed (i.e. relationship to violator, form of violence, reaction to violence or its attempt, consequences of violence, etc.), we will examine violence committed at home (domestic violence) and in public places (work/study).
