Health Systems Research - Does it make a difference?

The purpose of this 60 pages publication is to bring the concept and the approaches of HSR to the attention of health policy-makers, administrators and researchers at national and international level. It is hoped that the publication will:

• provoke discussion and thinking on HSR;
• stimulate new approaches and initiatives in this field; and
• expand or develop comparable programmes in other parts of the world.

The latest edition of the quarterly Health Systems Research Newsletter, a co-production of the WHO-supported 'Joint HSR Programme' and the GTZ-supported 'HSR Project for Reproductive Health & Health Care Reforms in Eastern and Southern Africa' is available for downloading.

Each issue has 35-40 pages. The files are in WORD f. Windows 6.0 format and have a packed size of 300 - 500 kB each.
