We also looked at newly-detected Trich in those who did not have Trich detected at the previous visit.

At follow-up visits, the percent of those screened with newly-detected Trich infections ranged from 0 to 0.6% in males, & 2.3 to 5.4% in females.

When the analysis was confined to newly-detected infections, there was still an approximately 10-fold difference in frequency of Trich in females relative to males.
