What Pitt students say. . . Q: If I
don’t spend all my free time studying, am I not doing enough work? A: You
shouldn’t spend every minute studying. Spend some hours each day doing what
you need to do, but also try to find time to have fun. Not burning out is just as important
as being well prepared. Q: What is there
to do in Pittsburgh? A: Since you are
in school here for at least four years out of your life, make Pittsburgh work
for you. Go sightseeing one day,
or chill on a nice day in front of the Cathedral lawn. Do not let the days slip away. Enjoy what Pittsburgh has to
offer. That includes doing some
research. Q: What is the
best way to manage my time between school, a job, and a social life, and most
importantly, sleep?! A: Do not wait
until the last minute to complete assignments. At least begin them ahead of time or
jot down notes on what you think you will work on later (if a paper). Make a schedule for yourself every
weekend for the following week, and at the end of every week for the
weekend. Set aside a time that
you will do your work, go to work, and work it around any events planned. Resources Childcare Ø University Child Development Center Ø National
