Education:
Undergraduate: B.S. in Chemistry, May 1995, West Virginia University
Graduate: Ph.D. in Chemistry, July 2001, University of Pittsburgh
Postdoctoral researcher in the VASP group at the
Institüt für Materialphysik, Computational Materials Science.
In my research, I used plane-wave DFT calculations to better
understand the reactions of atoms and small molecules on metal and
semiconductor surfaces as well as to characterize the hydrides of the diamond (100) surface.
