The Panther Sports Club Network (PSCN) is the collective efforts of University staff and students, focused on furthering club level athletics here in Oakland. Working within Student Affairs, the organization is built upon the competitive spirit at the most fundamental levels.

Communication and Coodination

Advocating interaction among clubs for competitive gains. Setting up a network among these teams would ensure awareness and access to opportunities such as:

• Fundraising and charitable ventures

• Vendors for purchase of equipment, apparel, etc

• Basic team functions such as field times or transportation

Promotion and Networking

Generate awareness about these teams and their accomplishments for the purpose of recruiting and building a following, as well as building relationships between these clubs. This would be achieved through:

• Increased media attention

• Improved online presence via social networking

• Social events incorporating all clubs

Reputation with Pitt

Become more involved in the Pitt community to build a positive rapport with Pitt, with the long-term goals of:

• Improved athletic facilities

• Improved financial support

• More favorable University policies
