* In the last two weeks the officers have made two major changes to the administrational structure of BBB. The first is a permanent change in regard of the social committee. The club will no longer have a social committee. Instead we will have what is called a "social pseudo-committee." This pseudo-committee consists of the president, the vice president, and the secretary, and they are the ones now who are responsible for organizing social events.
The other change is temporarily for this year only, and it's regarding the tutoring committee. This year BBB will have two chairs for the tutoring committee and each chair is called a co-chair. The work of the committee does not change though. And the new co-chair is Adam Wander.
If you have any questions regarding those recent changes do not hesitate to contact either the president or the vice president of the club, they'd be more than happy to answer any question.
* The tutoring program did officially start this week. Currently we have 3 tutors plus 2 more have just registered, and this leads to a total of 5 tutors in BBB tutoring program. If you are interested in joining the tutoring program you still can do so, just check the details in the tutoring page.

[9/12/04]
* We've just made it back from our BBB Ultimate Quest! It was really fun. We left the Union at 2pm and headed toward the dinosaur by the Carnegie Museum, & there we took a picture of the entire group, a pre-historic picture :) We continued our way to the woods and by the lake we split into groups of three. Each group had six tasks to accomplish in an hour and a half. The tasks were: catching a fish, finding three seeds with the leaves belonging to the plant, bringing back three living insects, taking pictures of three birds, three animals, and three fungi. Well, all of the groups were successful in accomplishing their mission on time, and it was so much fun. Great pictures will be posted soon in the photo gallery. (by the way, my group was missing two birds, but I'll say we're still winners because we catched a half dead fish which no body else did :D ). Lastly we ate at a restaurant. Wow, what a great adventure it was! Don't forget to join us in our next adventure!
* The members page have been updated, and more members will be added as the membership applications are being processed.

* Here is what went on in our Meet & Greet: first, as you'd expect, all officers & committee heads introduced themselves. Little fun icebreaker, pizza, and then into what you really need to know if you missed the meeting; here it is: go to the Membership page and fill out the application and hand it in to the bio advisor; also fill out the other form in the page that says participation form and give it to one of the club officers. Lastly, pay the dues as following: everyone needs to pay a 10$ chapter dues every semester with disregard of whether you are a new member or a previous member. Besides the 10$, if you are a new member you'll need to pay 20$ if you file as an associate member, 30$ if you are a regular member, and 10$ if you are upgrading from associate to regular. More specific details can be found in the membership page. Please note that you pay only once and that's it, except for the 10$ chapter dues that you pay every semester to help us finance our activities.
* The application is due by Tuesday 9/21/04 to the bio advisor in Langley A230.
* The money dues are due Tuesday 10/5/04 to the treasurer Dan.
* The participation form is due as soon as you fill it out to the vice president Aziz or any other officer.
* Don't forget our trip this Sunday 9/12/04. It's going to be so much fun, you just don't want to miss it. Check the details in the calendar & activities page.
* If you always have a class during our regular meeting hours, then don't hesitate to come to the other activities that are held at different times. & remember that you can always e-mail us if you have a question.

[before 8/30/04]
Currently everything on this website is new, and we hope you will like it. Later on, this section will include things like meetings minutes and other new updates.
* The website has received a second major update, almost all sections have been updated with a lot of great info. Committee heads and officers are very encouraged to take a look and give feedback.
* There was a committee heads meeting on 6/1/04. The heads that were not able to attend were contacted via e-mail. The meeting was very successful and several decisions have been made especially regarding the calendar and the plan for the upcoming year. There will be another follow up meeting early August, the specific date will be announced later.
* There was a meeting on 7/8/04 that involved the president, vice president, and the secretary of the club. The meeting was mainly to make sure that the preparations for the new academic year are going well, and to discuss new ideas, thoughts, and comments. All the officers and committee heads were provided by the meeting minutes via e-mail.
* The August meeting has been cancelled because most of the committee heads are out of Pittsburgh or cannot attend. There will be another meeting, however, that will include both the officers and the committee heads early in the semester before the club first regular meeting. The exact date will be provided later.
* The Wonderland page has been added, go check it guys. It's really cool!
