North East District Constitution
The Northeast District of Tau Beta Sigma and Kappa Kappa Psi is one of
seven districts of the National Chapters of TBS and KKPsi. The Northeast
District was created in 1987 during a national realignment of the Sorority
and Fraternity districts. The old District IX corresponds roughly to the
Northeast District. Our district consists of Maine, New Hampshire,
Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey,
Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, and the
District of Columbia.
Our District currently has twenty-three active chapters and no
colonies located in eight states.

Colonies
Each year, in the spring, the various chapters of the district get
together for precinct meetings and the district convention. Our district
is divided into three precincts: Northern, Central, and Southern.
Next year's meetings will be:
- Northern -- Marist College
- Central -- University of Pittsburgh
- Southern -- Howard University
Next year's convention is being held at:
- Clarion University of PA (March 16-18 2007)
At the convention we elect our new District Officers. The officers for
this year are:

- Vice President of Colonization and Membership - Krystal Cousins (Epsilon Epsilon - Kutztown University)
- Vice President of Special Projects - Kristine Kelly (Eta Alpha - Syracuse University)

- Treasurer - Denesha Factory (Eta Delta - Howard University)
