Follow a black line and blow out several candles that are placed close to the line.
Rules:
The robot must follow a line of black tape from where it starts to where it finishes
We make the task harder by inserting obstacles on the course. (next 2 bullets)
One part of the course has a bright light shining over it and another part is a tunnel.
The change in lighting makes the black line harder to detect, so the robot has to
be programmed to deal with unclear readings.
In certain parts of the course, there is a detour line which circles back to the main course.
If the robot mistakenly follows the detour line, it wastes time.
We place lit candles at various spots on the course. As the robot follows the line,
it has to detect the candles and extinguish them with a fan.
Winners: 1. Robot that finishes course the fastest. 15 second deduction for leaving the line.
2. Robot that blows out the most candles.
