Pitt Robotics Club
Welcome!

Welcome to the Robotics and Automation Society at the University of Pittsburgh. Here you will find plenty of information about this club and what we do. It is a great way to learn and apply key concepts to building robots in a hands on environment. Students of all experience levels and majors are welcome as we will teach you everything you need to know to get started and will get everyone involved. For more information about why you may want to join the club and how to join click here...

Revised Meeting Time

Effective 1/9/2012: Jonathan and Shawn will be switching group meeting times.

Jonathan's group will meet Monday 7-9pm, and Shawn's group will meet Tuesday 6-8pm.

Checkpoint Competition, Spring 2012

Hey, we're back for the Spring semester of 2012!

Coming soon is the middle of the year checkpoint. The goal is to have a bot that can float, and maybe move.

There will be a club meeting during which the checkpoint competition will take place, and there will (probably) be food and drinks, so show up if you can make it.

We will announce the time and place in a future email and an update on this website, so stay tuned. Right now, the plan is to have it at the end of January.

Spring 2011 Competition Winners (Maze Robots)

Congratulations to the winners: Josh Telson's Group!
Their robot navigated the course in 3:20

Other Contenders

The other groups weren't far behind. Good job everyone!
