Barrio Fiesta!

This will be a night that you won't forget! There will be dances, jokes, songs, shirts, martial arts, bamboo, Filipinos, and FOOD! Lots of delicious Filipino food!

This event in Tagalog means Neighborhood Party, which is exactly what it is! In the Philippines, people loved to gather together to enjoy these mini-festivals which honored everything from weddings to holidays, to just because! Members of the community would then bring whatever they could to the celebration, whether it be food or talents in music and dance, Barrio has always been known to bring people together, no matter who you are or where you're from, you're invited as a guest and as an active part of some of the big themes that define what it means to be Filipino: our Food, our Friendship, and our bonds as a family.

As in its roots, FSA's Barrio Fiesta is our biggest event, which combines traditional aspects of Pinoy culture, like dish and dance, and also assimilates the unique characteristics of its members as Filipino Americans in music, performance, and as your hosts.

So whatever you're doing in April, be sure to check out FSA's Barrio Fiesta, which offers free entertainment and food, but most importantly delivers so much of the Filipino culture in a single night, that you won't want to miss it!

As of now the where and when of this year's Barrio is:
