The Quran
The Quran is the very word and message of God, Almighty. A complete record of the exact words revealed by God through the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
This message was given to Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) in portions to meet all the needs of humanity over a period 23 years. The language of the original message was Arabic, but it has been translated into many other languages and become the belief system of numerous nations and approximately a billion people on the earth.
The Quran was memorized by Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) and his followers, dictated to his companions, and written down by scribes, who cross-checked it during the Prophet's lifetime. Not one word of its 114 chapters has been changed over the centuries for fourteen centuries.
The Quran is the principal source of every Muslim's faith and practice. It deals with all subjects that concern us as human beings; but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. It is guidance for mankind, but certainly not the first revelation by God who sent other holy books to other messengers like David (P.B.U.H.), Moses (P.B.U.H.), and Jesus (P.B.U.H.).
However, Quran is the last revelation that completes God’s religion and message for human kind. It is a blessed Book, peerless in its sublimity and holiness. Those who obey its commandments live a blessed life and acquire superiority over others. The Quran changes their world into a kind of Paradise, where its blessings bloom like flowers
