Shanty Town 2013
Panther Habitat, Feel Good, Take Back the Tap, and WPTS will be hosting our first annual Shanty Town- an event where teams will compete to build cardboard shacks to simulate the substandard housing that millions of people are living in around the globe.
This FREE event will be held Saturday, April 6th from 6pm-1am on the Cathedral Lawn.
Delicious food will be catered by Chakh la India, Spice Island Tea House, and Abay Ethiopian Cuisine! We will be having a night of games, a scavenger hunt, music and live performances, and a guest speaker from Habitat International. Prizes will be awarded for the best shanties in a number of categories (Most Aesthetic, Most Structurally Sound, Most Creative, etc).
