I do not know the word "quit." Either I never did, or have abolished it.

I'm not exactly sure if I am a runner or a cyclist. This summer I qualified for the Boston Marathon with a time of 3:09:48 in the Rock 'N' Roll Marathon in San Diego. I ended up leaving in a hospital, but I qualified and placed 189th out of over 20,000 runners who started the race. The next day my dad and I drove up to San Francisco, where we started a bike tour two days later, before I could even walk normally. In 49 days we rode our Surly Long Haul Truckers over 3,800 miles to Yorktown, Virginia and the Atlantic Ocean. We took 3 rest days out of those 49 and averaged about 83 miles a day, carrying about 50lbs of gear and water. I have hardly any racing experience on a bike, but I am looking forward to the road racing season with high expectations.
