ASO is an African Students Organization based
at the University of Pittsburgh's main campus. ASO is
comprised of Staff, faculty and students of various
ethnic backgrounds. ASO is committed to creating and
maintaining a cohesive African community in Pittsburgh
and the surrounding regions as well as organize various
forums to share information about, and develop an understanding
of the economic, social and political development needs
of Africa in particular.
